Durant 2023

On February 8, 2023, the Brooklyn Nets and the Phoenix Suns agreed to a blockbuster trade that sent Kevin Durant to the Suns in exchange for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder, four unprotected future first-round picks, and a 2028 pick swap.

The trade was a major coup for the Suns, who were looking to add a superstar player to their roster. Durant is a two-time NBA Finals MVP and one of the best players in the league. He is expected to team up with Devin Booker and Chris Paul to form a contender in the Western Conference.

The trade was a blow to the Nets, who were hoping to build a championship contender around Durant and Kyrie Irving. However, Irving’s vaccination status and Durant’s injury history made it difficult for the Nets to compete for a title. The trade gives the Nets a chance to rebuild their roster and start fresh.

The trade is one of the biggest in NBA history.
