The Climb To The Top

Who is Trey Grube? Arguably one of the best 3-point shooters in the Lancaster-Lebanon league conference. He considers himself a high IQ player who can shoot from anywhere in the gym. In 2022, the 6-foot guard was selected to the 5A PIAA All State 3rd team & Lancaster Lebanon League 1st team.  Mr. Grube averaged 21 ppg and had 101 3’s made for the 21-22 season.

1000 PT Scorer

On Feb 5th, 2022, vs. Solanco, Grube, a junior at the time, hit a major milestone reaching 1,000 points for his career. Grube finished with a season-high 32 points. He is the seventh Manheim boys’ player to reach this achievement.

The 6-foot sharpshooter drilled 101 3-pointers, the highest single-season total in the league since at least 2002. But he also made and attempted the most free-throws of any player in the league, converting 85.1% of his attempts (143 of 168). (Source)

Coach Fisher

“Trey’s biggest thing is he wants to win,” head coach Charlie Fisher said about Grube’s 1000-point milestone. “He battles and wants to win and is more than capable of putting the ball in the hoop. He is doing better with moving without the ball to get open and getting to the foul line. Trey knows his strength is scoring and he goes out and does it.”
