Jaylen Brown is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played one year of college basketball for the California Golden Bears, being named first-team all-conference and Freshman of the Year in the Pac-12 Conference. Jaylen was selected by the Celtics with the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft.

 Brown was born on October 24, 1996, in Marietta, Georgia. He attended Wheeler High School, where he was a two-time All-State selection. Jaylen was also named the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2015.

Jaylen Brown played one season of college basketball for the California Golden Bears. He averaged 14.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. All in all, Brown was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team and was the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year.

Jaylen Brown was selected by the Boston Celtics with the third overall pick in the 2016 NBA draft. He has since become a key player for the Celtics, averaging 20.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game for his career. Furthermore, Jaylen has been selected to two NBA All-Star Games, as well as named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2020.

Brown is currently a starting shooting guard for the Boston Celtics. He is averaging 23.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game in the 2022-23 NBA season. Jaylen is shooting 46.4% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range. The Celtics are currently in second place in the Eastern Conference.  Brown is a talented two-way player who is still under 26 years old. He has the potential to be one of the best players in the NBA for years to come.
