Who Is Chad Timberlake?
A high flying guard out of Brooklyn, Chad Timberlake aka “Silent But Deadly” made a name for himself as a hometown athlete in New Jersey and hasn’t looked back since.
The Climb To The Top
Mr. Timberlake is an athletic shooting guard out of Brooklyn where he averaged 17 points a game for New Utrecht High School. He was a second team All-Tournament pick in the NJ 19 & under state tournament, and Third Team All-Tournament selection in the NJ 17 & under tournament. Chad was also a member of the track & field team in 1998-99, participating in the high jump which is a testament to his athletic ability.
Mr.Timberlake would go on to sign his letter of intent to play for Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey where his career continued to rise. His freshman year saw Chad making waves with high flying dunks and tenacious defense, which earned him a place on the NEC all rookie team. With each passing year Mr. Timberlake improved his game and his productivity on the court. He eventually worked his way to becoming the NEC player of the year in his senior year. Averaging 15 points per game, and leading his team to a championship, and in no time Chad became a hometown hero.
After college Chad took his game overseas where he played for multiple teams in the first and second divisions. Since 07 Chad has played for more than 7 teams averaging as high as 22 points a game. From the Albany Patroons, Novy Jicin in the Czech Republic, to Fribourg Olympic in France, and now Switzerland where he currently plays for BBC Monthey. Chad has been around the world and has been crowned champion in different countries. His passion drives him to be exactly what he’s always been, a winner and a hometown athlete.
Humility
Chad has always been a great teammate on the court, but he’s been just as good a trainer off it. He’s devoted his time to teaching the youth about the game and how it should be played in order to get to the next level. There’s no better teacher than experience, and with the amount of teams he’s acceled on, Mr. Timberlake has no shortage of experience. The Future Is Bright
Chad can be found currently playing in Switzerland for BBC Monthey where he’s averaging 13 points a game and working to help his team win a championship. We have no doubt in our minds that he will continue to succeed at anything he does and we look forward to seeing his transition more into the training world.
