James Edward Harden Jr. is an American professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is widely regarded as one of the greatest scorers and shooting guards in NBA history.

Harden was born on August 26, 1989, in Los Angeles, California. He attended Artesia High School in Lakewood, California, where he was a two-time McDonald’s All-American and a Parade All-American. He was also named the Naismith Prep Player of the Year in 2007.

In 2021, Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets. He played one season with the Nets before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers in 2022.
