Dennis was a hard-working student athlete. He took advantage of every opportunity. Read about some of his achievements.

Who is Dennis “Every Level” Stanton? He’s a graduate of LaSalle College High School in Wyndmoor, PA.   Dennis earned some recognition as a senior, averaging 15 ppg. Through his four years, Dennis played in two catholic league semi-finals and garnered second team all-league honors. Dennis did not receive much attention getting recruited. But he was able to earn an opportunity at Ursinus College. Dennis made significant history here.

Dennis Stanton College

Stanton, as a senior had the best season performance than any player that ever-attended Ursinus. Dennis was honored as the 2004 Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year.  He was named a first-team All-American by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and a first-team Academic All-American. Dennis Stanton remains the first and only male athlete in the history of Ursinus College to garner both honors. (Source)

Dennis Stanton Achievements

Dennis was also the 2004 Centennial Conference Player of the Year. Stanton led the NCAA in scoring as a senior. He accrued 879 points for a 32.6 points per game average. This was the highest point total and average in a single season. Dennis stands alone with this record.

He scored at least 20 points in 26 of 27 games. As a senior he played 17 games of 30 points or more. He broke the Ursinus and Centennial record for points in a game. On February 7, 2004, Dennis scored 55 in a 104-92 win over previously unbeaten and 14th-ranked Franklin & Marshall. That broke his own previous barrage of 45 points against Johns Hopkins. It was their first league loss of the season.

Stanton made 140 three pointers, as a result he led the Centennial Conference and finished second in NCAA Division III. He shattered the league and school records. He also broke the Centennial and Ursinus records for points in a season (879) and three-pointers in a career (306). With 1,903 career points, Dennis finished his career as the all-time leading scorer in the history of the Centennial Conference. Dennis Stanton Professional Career

Upon graduating from Ursinus, Stanton played professionally in Europe for four seasons. In his first season overseas, he starred for the Jonstrup Basketball Club in Denmark. That season Dennis led all of Denmark in scoring. Dennis holds the club and league record 40 points per game.

After Denmark, Stanton went on to play in Poland for Polpharma Starogard Gdansk Basketball Club. Dennis led the country in three pointers made, averaging 15ppg, and was a DBL All-Star selection. The following season, Stanton spent time in the A2 Italian League, playing for Fileni Jesi Basketball Club.

Dennis finished his playing days in Spain for a club named Palencia. He returned to the states to begin the next chapter of his life.  Check out some of his highlights from Poland below.  (Source)

Humility

After his playing days closed out, Dennis became a teacher, coach, and mentor.

After finishing up his professional career Dennis started student teaching. The following year he was teaching 9th grade English at Souderton Area High School. And also, was chosen as the head coach for the school basketball team.

Coach Stanton, after a couple years, started coaching at his college alma mater.  He stayed with Ursinus for 2 more years. That following year he returned to Souderton to fill the role as athletic director. He currently facilitates sports at the area high school. 

Dennis Stanton is Every Level Basketball

While Dennis’ basketball career came to an end, he never left the game.  In 2004, Dennis founded and currently directs, Every Level Basketball LLC.  It is a business providing basketball instruction for kids. ELB works with ages 8-16 through summer camps, group workouts and individual instruction.  Dennis has operated this business for over 18 years.

The Future Is Bright

After 18 years, Every Level Basketball, and Dennis are making a positive impact in youth sports.

Since the founding of Every Level Basketball, Dennis has displayed consistency with his summer camps.  He has worked exclusively with over 20,000 players and has helped them learn the basics of basketball. Coach Stanton works with all levels but is also an advocate for coaches and officials.  As a former student and professional athlete, his passion runs deep. He is consistently finding ways to engage his community through basketball.
